Marketing - Sponsored advertising: Google, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and other advertising networks

In this tutorial, we'll learn how to build an audience, and paid to advertise.
This guide is one of the most interesting guides, in my opinion, we will learn how to earn between the gaps of advertising acquisition and income from advertising on our blog. We will know how to build an audience of surfers and earn instead of losing. We'll learn how to use Facebook advertising platforms that include Instagram and Messenger. We'll learn how to advertise through Google and its advertising network, and we'll learn how to advertise on the world's largest content advertising networks. let's get started!

How worth watching?

Viewing occurs when someone views our content on the site. All of our calculations in order to evaluate our profitability begin and end with the expectations so it is important that we know how to recognize them. Viewing occurs when a surfer watches one page on a site so we have one unique viewer and one viewing. When a surfer watches three pages on our site then we have one unique viewer but three pageviews. In the digital advertising world, we're compensated for the views and clicks of advertisements. Because each view is worth a different amount, and viewing a click of a surfer on an advertisement is worth more to us than a surfer who did not click on an advertisement. For this reason, the term RPM - Revenue Per Mile was invented to make it easier to extract the figure of profit from each view. RPM means it's a profit per 1,000 pageviews. Google gives us this figure so that you can understand how much we are worth on average every surfer on the site watching ads.
For example, Viewing site number 1 is worth 0.05 $ then 1000 views bring us 50 $. site number 2 is worth 0.025 $ so 1000 views bring us 25 $. We just need to divide by 1,000 the number Google brings us. Thus we will know the exact amount that we can limit when we make paid advertising.
When a surfer arrives at our site from sponsored advertising, he or she must click on an advertisement presented to him by one of the suppliers we advertise with. For example, you can click on an ad on Facebook, on Instagram or on Google's website or in our article.
Sometimes a click equals more than one observation. How is this possible? If one surfer watches more than one page, it is worth more than one. How would we know that? Using a tool called Google Analytics (we will learn this in the next tutorial), we will know how much each unique surfer is worth to us each surfer and how much we are worth a click. For example, if the data we receive is that one user equals an average of 1.3 pages viewed on the site then we can increase the cost per click we pay to different advertising networks (the higher the cost per click we can bring surfers from the countries that surf there equals higher income from advertising)
Simply multiply your pay-per-click by 1.3. Let's make a calculation for a re-click: site number 1 - 0.06 $ and site number 2 - 0.03 $. This means that each time we pay less, we will be in profit. Because we got more money than we bought a click. So that, in fact, the funded advertising earns more than what we have. And so we benefit not only from the direct profits we also benefit from a surfer who can return to our site naturally in the future without having to pay money on advertising. So wait, if we have direct profits and indirect profits for what we will not measure them? A click to our site that contains advertisements and different models of profit is worth our money directly, but it does not end here. Users who come to our site are exposed to more direct content they can share the content or products with friends and so we are worth more clicks for free. They can subscribe to our mailing list and receive direct mailings, so they are worth thousands of clicks in the future free of charge. For example, on one of my sites, the mailing list brings 10,000 clicks in one month. Users can also follow us on one or more social networks and thus come to the site free of charge. If they really like our content they can do all the things together and then they're worth much more than average surfers.
In one of my sites, more than 20% of the monthly traffic is repeat visitors. Such that I do not have to pay any money at all and they profit bigger because we did not pay for advertising. Just because they entered the past and remembered the content for the better and they simply return to the site directly. All those surfers are worth more money to us. And how much more money do you ask? There are some formulas for calculating but none of them are accurate until 90 days have passed. Only after 90 days will we be able to accurately estimate surfers who value money indirectly. So at this time, we consider only the value of the surfer who is worth our money directly. Only after 3 months can you increase the CPC you pay to different ad networks. Incidentally, for all of these calculations, I have not added any profits from the sale of different affiliate products or marketing networks. So actually a click is worth a lot more to us. But for starters, we will only relate to the profit we receive from advertising.

Think we'll be able to buy clicks at that price? Let's find out

Advertising with FACEBOOK & INSTAGRAM

To start a sponsored advertising campaign on Facebook click on the small arrow on Facebook and click on Create Ads (via computer only) you will go to the ad account page. In order to create an ad for traffic to our content, we will select a campaign type (campaign type) chosen on the move. There are different types of campaigns You can choose any type according to your need. At the moment our desire is to produce a profit gap on our traffic to you and was chosen in a "traffic" campaign. And press Continue. We'll then select the traffic to reach our "site". In some locations we will select the countries we target, if our site is in English then we can select specific countries and we can also select a global audience. There is a great advantage in choosing a global audience because we come to countries that do not speak English but we come to people who speak English. In English-speaking countries, the cost per click is usually higher because there are more marketers who target those countries. Therefore, it is better to do 2 series of global ads 1 and another campaign for English speaking countries. You'll then change the ages according to the ages that match your content and products. You can choose a gender change, this is relevant if our site speaks to a particular species. "In languages" we will write English if we are aimed at the whole world.
A small matter that is important to talk about is "locations" according to the geographical location you choose to choose if you are interested in people living in the same country or people traveling in the country. In the "Languages" tab you can tell Facebook to show the ad to those people who speak the language. On the "Segmentation" tab of the target audience, you can type your own segmentation or let Facebook offer you suggestions. By area of interest by demographics by behavior and more. Facebook has a lot of information about us all. As you can see and browse the categories. They know what our education is, they know what our financial situation they know about birthdays and what kind of politics we are interested in, what our hobbies are and what mobile device we use. I encourage you to write words for yourself eg investments, efficiency, quality of life, marketing, sales, and even tattoos. You can write the names of other large sites in the same niche, you can write the names of companies or businesses in your field and that way you expand your audience more and more. You have the option to target every type of people no matter what your field and what your niche.
You will need to explore your niche and find the keywords and interests of the people in your niche. In the "Exclusion" tab you can choose to download a target audience that is interested in something. For example, you want a target audience for "sales" but you can also lower the number of people who are interested in "marketing." You can also choose to click on the "Expand Interest" button to improve performance at a lower cost, allowing you to increase your audience.
In "Connections" we can only target people who liked our page and friends of friends who liked our page and more options. Keep in mind that eventually, we want to get as many clicks as possible in as little money as possible. In "Locations," we can choose different locations where Facebook recommends that we show ads like Instagram, Messenger, and other ad networks that Facebook works with. You can also manually choose where your ad will appear.
I recommend choosing automatic placements. Because Facebook can get us the cheapest click. We'll then set up our budget. I recommend you set at least $ 5 a day to feel the traffic. Of course, you do this only after you know from Google what your RMP is after you have implemented advertisements so you will not waste any money. Something really really important called "ad optimization" here we choose which method Facebook will optimize our traffic! You should click on "Clicks on a link" and then set the maximum CPC that you can pay for the traffic. For that matter, our budget is $ 0.06 per click maximum. You will only pay this amount if a surfer clicks on your advertisement. Remember - the RPM you get from Google you divide by 1,000 and then you have reached the maximum number you can pay Facebook on a click. Or want to pay Facebook as much as possible on a click to show the ad to as many people as possible. Of course, it does not have to pass the price we should pay. The lowest amount we can pay is $ 0.01.

Ads Types

The first option is to create a new ad that does not exist on your page. A second option is to use an existing post on a Facebook page. We would like to publish a post we have on the page as soon as we have a post that gave us good data, we will take the post itself and make it an advertisement. We would like to post a new post (a post that does not exist on the page) if we do not want the post to exist on the page. I recommend distributing an existing post on the page because the posts, comments, and shares are saved. You can also link the advertisement to your Instagram account, and the advertisement will be displayed on Instagram. It is always better to connect the same Instagram account of the Facebook page.
When you create a new ad you have additional options for commercials such as Carousel - to display a few articles or pictures together, a video - allows to commercialize a video and other options. You can choose which "action-oriented" button to select, a button that will make the user click on the advertisement and reach the site. I recommend "more information" because it's the least I know. You can see how the ad looks before you publish it.
You have the option to select the "Presentation" tool. This is a great tool that allows you to create a video from changing pictures or articles. You can also put the video on Instagram and YouTube. This is how you create content using video. I encourage you to experiment with all formats to know exactly what works for you.

Optimization after creating an ad

Once you've created an ad, you'll see our ad series. If we want to duplicate an ad with similar data, but with changes, we make we can click "duplicate" on the replication you can make changes as needed. If you enter into the ad series I will see our ads. By clicking on the preview we will see how the advertisement looks. You can turn off the advertisement at any point. Let's summarize the process: we create an ad, define the target audience. Defining CPC (RPM) creates several ads within our ad series and actually lets them compete, and we wait and see the results and respond accordingly. If we see that the daily budget we set is being used, we either increase the budget or lower the cost-per-click (CPC) and get clicks cheaper. Sometimes you will try to run an advertisement without success because Facebook will not be able to show the ad based on the CPC you set. In this situation, we will try to change the ad or image or title. Try to change each one and see where the problem is.
Another option for getting cheap clicks is to create an "engagement" campaign that is basically a campaign where we tell Facebook that we want to find people who will comment or like or share our post. Facebook knows what people are doing these things. It's good for us because we get more clicks for free as a result of sharing our posts by users. This gives us social proof as you have more wikis in the post more comments and shares so there will be more clicks. You can create by clicking on campaigns and then clicking instead of engagement traffic.

Advertising with GOOGLE and YOUTUBE

Now we'll be switching to Google Ads. Google allows us to advertise in its search engine, YouTube videos, in Gmail and Adsense in its advertising network. Over the years I bought nearly 100,000 dollars of cheap clicks. Google advertising has a lot of profit gap options that you can earn on clicks. In order to create a campaign, you need a Google Ads to account then click on "New Campaign" and we will choose to focus on "traffic to the site" then we will select the type of "Search" campaign enter your URL and click Continue. Choose a campaign name then choose whether you want to advertise only on the Search Network or Display Network. I recommend choosing both of them because Google will bring us the cheapest clicks. Choose the geographic location you want your ad to appear on. Then select the desired language. Choose the maximum of your daily budget. My recommendation is at least $ 5 a day. Then choose the goal of your campaign (clicks) and the maximum CPC you're willing to pay. For example, $ 0.06. Click Save and continue. On the next page, you'll have the option to select keywords that people search for as you add more relevant keywords that way. Here, too, Google will offer you keywords. Once you've finished, click Save and continue to go to the ad creation page.

How do we create an ad through Google?

1) First, enter your URL - your website.
2) Enter a title for your ad - try to be as close as possible to the keywords you choose.
3) Write a sentence that drives surfers to click on your ad. It works in a certain way as a CEO so I recommend that there be a link between the keywords and the headline. When you're finished clicking Done and then you'll see how the ad looks. Click Save and continue and you've created a new ad series through Google :)
In the Google Adsense management panel, you can select the placements that the ad will appear by clicking on placement. From here you have to follow the campaign and see that it started running. Keep track of your daily budget and clicks so you can see whether to increase your budget.
At each step come you want to change something in the campaign clicked on settings. By clicking on bidding you will change the price per click. Another type of ad we'd like to create is a dynamic ad. Here we give Google the ability to customize the content we have on our site to the target audience through the Google Search Network. To do this you will do the process of creating the campaign exactly as I explained above through the steps when you get to action 2 set up as group Click on ad group type on dynamic instead of standard Then mark all pages, then save and continue and continue exactly the same process as explained above.

Advertising with Outbrain & Taboola

These networks advertise through content. These ad networks seal agreements with large content sites around the world to show ads through content. With advertising through these companies, you can appear directly on large news sites and content sites on various topics that you would not be able to appear there because you do not have enough budget. These are companies that mediate between an advertiser (us) and large news sites all over the world. In order to advertise through these companies, we will need to contact the companies directly to open an account for you.

In conclusion

Once you do the right publicity you can move on to other ad networks to drive traffic to your site. It is very important that you grow only in accordance with the growth in profits! You are welcome to consult with me on any issue and challenge you encounter.
